Disley Scout Group has it's base at the Scout Hut on Station Approach, Disley. The Group is distinguished by an orange scarf with red piping bearing the motif of a Rams Head which is the name of a well known nearby public house. Situated on the edge of both Greater Manchester and the Peak District, Disley is a village with a population of about 4800. The most famous local landmark is Lyme Park, a National Trust property. To make life complicated, whilst Disley Parish lies within Macclesfield Borough in the County of Cheshire, for Scouting purposes our Group forms part of the Stockport Scout District within the Greater Manchester East Scout County.
