The Scouting movement is a uniformed organization, some of the reasons we wear a uniform is as follows;

  • Equality is very important in our movement and wearing the uniforms presents us as all equal based on the original Brownsea Island Camps
  • To give the Scouts a sense of belonging to the World Wide Organization of Scouting.
  • Pride, wearing the uniform with pride and as a representative of the Scouting movement!
  • To clearly identify Group members when on large camps.

The Group wears an orange scarf or neckerchief with red piping.  Our motif is the Rams Head -

Shirts, blouses and sweatshirts carry badges for the Group, District and County -
